Another step away from babyhood

David slept in his big boy bed last night!!! And, right now, he's "napping" in there too. If this is successful, we may move the crib out of there today. I can't believe that we are here already:-( and :-)

Good Weather

None of my pictures with friends turned out very good. I thought I'd put some pictures from Sunday instead.

This one is David and Daddy getting ready for church. Notice the matching dimple, eyes, and smiles:-) ...my handsome boys!!

Later, after David's nap, Grammy and I took David to the WPS park. We had a grand ol' time:-)

I'll get some new pictures on here soon. David and I have had some grand adventures with friends! We've visited with Will and Laura, Sarah Beth, Hannah, and Emily, and Aunt Janice! Now, he's watching Elmo's World on You Tube while I type this. Don't tell the American Pediatrics Association, or whatever they're called.

I am in a total funk!! I tend to do this periodically. I need something to jump start me again. I'm so depressed about being stuck in the house all day that I can't even do the mundane things like clean the kitchen and do the laundry. Ugh!! I really need some close stay-at-home mommy friends. Any takers?
On a happier note... David and I were at the grocery store today, and I was singing the Super Why version of the ABC Song. David started singing back to me at the top of his lungs.......
ABBB BIB!!!!!!! It was hilarious. He did it all the way to the check out line. The cashier wasn't amused. Sad for her:-(

Ultrasound and the sick baby blues

David's got some yucky cold thing. He's so uncomfortable and sad. It makes me sad, too.
On a happier note, we had our ultrasound today. I wish that I could enjoy things like that more, but I worry so much that something is going to be wrong. They said that he has a two vein umbilical cord. This seems to be a relatively common occurance, and will most likely not be a problem. But, it is one more thing for me to worry about.
It's a boy!! Harrison Charles Ward. I can't wait to see him:-)

Numero Uno

Okay. So, I'm going to try this blogging thing. But, I must warn you that I have never succeeded with a diary. So, I am destined to fail. But, I have many humerous David stories to tell, and very few people to tell them to. So... here goes.

I decided to try and get some good pictures of David today. Because, he moves very fast these days, and I rarely get anything but his back. These turned out pretty good.

Oh, and David was vacuuming with the Shark in the kitchen today (because that's fun for some reason), and so I ran downstairs to grab some clean laundry. This is what I found when I came back. These started out in the pantry, by the way.
